Ricochet, Texecom’s award-winning wireless mesh technology, has been enhanced with the release of the Premier Elite LCDLP-W wireless keypad. Ricochet is designed to be fully compatible with the Premier Elite professional graded alarm system, offering a secure wire-free platform. With the launch of the LCDLP-W, it is now possible to create an end-to-end wireless system that delivers high security along with a proven pedigree for graded systems.
The LCDLP-W offers fully functionality. It is not a basic arming station or a device that mimics some features of a hard-wired keypad; it delivers full programming capabilities to both the end customer and to security installers.
The keypad has been designed to completely and fully replicate the functionality of the standard hard-wired Premier Elite keypads. It even retains the same footprint of those devices. The Ricochet enabled keypad only has one significant difference: no wiring is required.
Additional wireless keypads can easily be added, allowing a protected property to be accessed from multiple locations without lengthening the entry time delay. If a remote building is alarmed separately and needs to be disarmed discretely, the addition of a wireless keypad in that zone allows this. Because of the longer range of the Ricochet wireless keypads it is possible to extend the alarm system to other buildings as well.
The LCDLP-W can be carried around the site by the installer during set-up and walk testing. This simplifies the installation and commissioning processes and eliminates the need for frequent visits to the panel.
